Quarch Compliance Suite
Part Number: QCS
Product Details
Qualifying your system to industry best practices just got easier. Run tests and record results in real-time.
For those who want to perform a range of tests without the need for specialist knowledge or custom scripting, QCS is for you. Based on a cross-platform Java/Python implementation, tests can be run at the touch of a button. Results are comprehensively displayed in real-time, allowing you to see any problems right away.
Compliance Suite allows fully automated testing with no need to develop your own test cases or automation systems. Quarch test cases cover a wide range of hot-plug, pin bounce and timing tests to ensure your system is stable in all cases and can handle likely physical layer faults that will occur in the field.

The client PC can either run tests locally or connect to a remote server that has the drive under test.
Tests
QCS1001
Performs a wide range of hot-plug timing scenarios, verifying that the drive enumerates corrects each time
QCS1002
Extending QCS1001 and adding pin-bounce during the hot-plug cycle
QCS1003
Extending QCS1001 and performing hot-plugs with key signals delayed or connected early
QCS1004
Limited version of QCS1001 that implements the UNH-IOL hotplug test required for the NVMe promoters group. This is not licensed and can be run for free as a demo
QCS1005
Power margining test, reducing voltage in steps and verifying the drive can still enumerate
QCS1006
Power Vs Performance test, running a range of FIO workloads on the device and reporting on the power consumption of each workload (including a full QPS trace)
QCS1007
An extension to QCS1006, allowing custom FIO workloads to be run
QCS1008
A mini version of QCS1007 that is not licensed and can be run for free as a demo
QCS1009
Lane width reduction test, reducing the lane width and ensuring the drive enumerates correctly
QCS1010
Power down continuity test, using FIO to run and verify a workload has completed despite an unexpected power loss
