Operations and Supply Chain Administrator

Based in Aviemore in the stunning Cairngorms National Park, we design and manufacture our products in-house with a skilled team of engineers, technicians and operations staff. The Role
The aim of this role is to assist the Operations team. You will assist with the entire supply chain process, from receiving goods, locating suppliers and issuing orders, to monitoring international shipping, deliveries and quality.
We are looking for an administrator, who can learn quickly and help to improve our processes.
Main responsibilities
- Process goods received
- Prepare, process and monitor purchase orders until goods are delivered
- Maintain records of outstanding and confirmed purchase orders
- Deal with any queries relating to shipping, invoices or other aspects of supply chain administration
- Chasing suppliers and monitoring order progress
- Tracking quotes from external suppliers
- Helping to locate new sources of stock / new suppliers
- Performing stock counts
This job is expected to be a full-time, permanent position, based at the company office in Aviemore, Scotland. Flex-time is offered.
Your experience
You need to be very organised and able to work in a high-tech environment. Specific knowledge of electronics of the computer industry is not required, but you need to be comfortable with learning the basics
You must have:
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Excellent English and communication
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on the quality of your work
- Ability to plan your time to balance multiple deadlines
- Permission to work in the UK
It would be an advantage if you have experience in:
- Experience in clerical and administrative procedures and use of office equipment
- Experience or interest in electronics and technology

- Good basic salary: £22k-£26k (dependent on experience)
