The Gen6 AIC x16-0 Breaker is a cost-effective way to test AIC devices.  This Breaker supports the full range of features, except that high-speed signals are directly routed (so they cannot be switched)

Designed for AIC/Slot devices with up to 16 data lanes. This device fits into an x16 slot and supports all 16 lanes to the device under test.

The module has full control over power and sideband pins, allowing simulation of many hot-swap and fault injection scenarios. Individual control of each signal, pin bounce, and high-speed glitching combine to greatly increase the number of test cases you can perform. ‘Driving’ is available on some sideband pins, allowing a range of additional tests to drive signals high/low rather than just disconnecting them.

External triggering features are enabled by default for Gen6 AIC products, though cables are not supplied.

It is possible to use individual drive modules for simple bench testing. For automated storage enclosures, multiple units can be used.

Each drive module requires one port on a Torridon Controller.
