Build Your Own USB-C Power Injection Fixture
Your trusted partner for simple, scalable testing solutions. Get hands-on with power testing.
USB-C Power Injection Fixture
A USB-C interposer placed between a host and a device, allowing for controlled power injection and measurement.
Modes of Operation:
- Simple Mode: Inject a static 5V power supply, independent from the host.
- PPM (Programmable Power Module) Mode: Offers advanced, precise control of power delivery for dynamic testing scenarios.
Advanced Power Testing
- Automated Power Cycling: Repeatedly turn power on/off to stress test devices.
- Precise Power Margining: Sweep voltage from 0V to 6V to test device behavior outside ideal conditions.
- Real-world Glitch Simulation: Introduce power “glitches” and noise patterns to build robust designs.

Easy, Beginner-Friendly Assembly
We designed the assembly process to be as simple as possible, requiring only basic soldering knowledge.
Required Equipment:
Soldering Equipment (Iron, solder, etc.) / Parts included in the Bill of Materials. (See below)
Process:
Simply match the components from the Bill of Materials to their corresponding locations on the PCB (marked with RefDes like ‘R1’, ‘J1’, etc.) and solder them in place.
