This Gen6 U.2 SMPM Adapter kit includes a pair of matching U.2 to SMPM fixtures to assist in signal integrity testing of Gen6 PCIe links. The fixtures are wired for PCIe x4, with each lane being brought out to a set of SMPM connectors. SAS lanes are also brought out.
A calibration coupon is also included, made of the same PCB material and with the same trace length.
This allows test equipment such as a VNA to be connected to the PCIe data lanes of either a U.2 host or device for test purposes.
Access to the reference clock (REFCLK) pins is provided with a pair of U.FL connectors on each board.
